Bluebells are already well on the way but also behind a bit in their usual life cycle. Last Sunday was too cold for early May. Temperature dropped around freezing at dawn. It was mostly clear sky with only a few clouds. The previous evening I decided to break my photography deadlock and go for a short stroll.
As I mentioned in my last post I had planned to shoot Bluebells and Wild Garlic by the stream next to my village. Weather-wise the last two evenings were really nice so I grabbed my camera bag and left with hope to shoot some nice close-up photos.
Finally Spring has arrived. Last week we had three days with temperature rising above 25 degree Celsius. Nature was waiting eagerly for this. These unusual hot days boosted everything. You can see daffodils, tulips, shrubs and trees in bloom all at the same time. Bluebells and Wild Garlic started to grow and develop their flowers. It's been almost a year when I last time used my lenses for macro photography. After a long cold and wet winter I really wanted to go out to lie down in the woods and just enjoy photographing these small wonders.
